One of the core businesses of Karl International is the manufacturing and supply of critical structural components for self-elevating platforms & rigs. The main activity is the supply and fabrication of gear racks and chords for jackup rigs and complete jackup leg ‘kits’. Typical project involvement includes new construction of rigs, repairs, conversions and upgrades.

 

In addition, we can also provide on-site technical services in the builder’s yard to assist with the assembly and erection of these components including the alignment of the legs, guides and jacking systems. The company also designs fixtures for assembly of legs, welding procedures and other fabrication guidelines.
